Creature Double Feature
On Saturday, August 7 2010, Sacramento animal lovers came out for a fun summertime movie event, the Creature Double Feature, to benefit the Sacramento Pet Food Bank.
V101.1 radio personality Lee Perkins emceed the event, a double feature held at the historic Guild Theater. The event showcased "Cat Ladies," a documentary featuring four women whose lives and self-worth become linked to cats, along with "Best in Show," a hilarious mockumentary following five dogs and their owners as they head to the prestigious Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show.
Thanks to everyone who joined in the event, the Creature Double Feature was a huge success!

2010 Pet Food Drive
On Saturday, November 13 2010, the Sacramento Cat Hospital hosted its Second Annual Pet Food Drive to benefit the Sacramento Pet Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes.
Thanks to the generous support of individuals and businesses in our community, 4500 pounds of cat and dog food were collected during the pet food drive. Dog and cat treats, cat litter, leashes and collars, bedding, and other pet supplies were also donated. All items were given to the Sacramento Pet Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes, helping to keep pets with their families and out of our city's shelters.
Thank you to all of the generous individuals and companies that supported and donated during the pet food drive.
