Welcome to Titanic's Pantry

Helping Keep Sacramento Pets and Their People Together

Titanic's Pantry (also known as the Sacramento Pet Food Bank) was launched in November 2009, when local shelters were seeing more and more people surrendering their beloved family pets because they could not afford to feed them.

The Sacramento Pet Food Bank is sponsored by the Animal Care Partners of Sacramento, a collaboration of the City of Sacramento Animal Care Services, Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation, the Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), and Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary.

The goal of the Sacramento Pet Food Bank is to help struggling families keep their pets by providing cat and dog food as often as once a month. Although we can't provide all of the food a family needs for its pets, we can help through the tough times. The pet food bank is 100% volunteer-run.

Since opening our doors, Titanic's Pantry has helped thousands of families in Sacramento. Without this extra help, many more pets may have been surrendered to shelters.
